The Person Behind Ibha

Ibha was not built in a boardroom. It was built from lived experience, from watching families struggle, and deciding to do something about it.

Growing up, Harini watched families around her, including her own, go through something that no one talked about openly: the quiet strain of caring for a loved one who needs help. When a parent fell ill, came home from the hospital, or simply grew older and needed more support, the family would hold things together as best they could. Someone would leave work early. Someone would spend the day worried, distracted, unable to be fully present anywhere. And through it all, there was a persistent thought: I wish there was someone we could really trust with this.

That thought stayed with Harini for years. It shaped what she believed in and what she felt compelled to build. She did not want to create just another service. She wanted something that felt like family, a person outside your family who you could trust completely, who would care for your loved one the way you would if you were there.

So she founded Ibha.

Today, Ibha offers three core services. The first is elder and parent care, for aging parents who need consistent, attentive support, whether they live with you or independently. As parents grow older, they deserve someone who is there for them every day, not just when the family can find a moment between work and other responsibilities. The second is post-surgery and recovery care, for patients who have just come home from hospital and need full-time support. You cannot be by their side every hour of the day, but they need someone who can be. Ibha care managers take complete responsibility for the patient's comfort and wellbeing, giving families the peace of mind to keep going without constant anxiety. The third is nanny care, for new parents navigating the beautiful, exhausting reality of a newborn at home. A trained Ibha care manager will be right there through the night, feeding, bathing, soothing, so parents can sleep, recover, and return to their lives knowing their baby is in safe, loving hands.

All services are available round-the-clock, on a 12-hour morning or night shift, or on a flexible day-by-day basis for families who need support only on certain days. And if your family has a need that does not quite fit a standard package, reach out. Harini's approach has always been the same: listen first, then find a way to help.

"I started Ibha because I wanted every family to have someone they could truly trust. Someone outside the family who would show up every single day with the same love and care that you would. That is what Ibha is. That is what it will always be."

What Ibha Stands For

Ibha was built on the belief that no family should face a health challenge alone, and that the quality of care a loved one receives should never depend on how much time you can take off work or how near you happen to live.

Whether it is a parent who needs daily companionship, a patient recovering from surgery, or a newborn who needs a calm and steady presence through the night, Ibha is there. Always. Like family.

If you have a need that is not yet covered, reach out. The Ibha team will listen, and they will find a way to make it work.
